Art’X explores the meanings of the new trends in art, outside the museums, meeting and discovering the most significant projects made in the Italian and European context.
The first episode, which are proposed in this demo, is dedicated to the MAAM – Museum of the Other and the Elsewhere of Metropoliz – a counter-museum in Via Prenestina 913, in Rome. It’s a kind of “barrier of art” for the defense of a political project.
With Giorgio De Finis, animator/curator of the project, we retrace the steps of the art project, started by the occupation of an old abandoned factory by immigrants and “homeless”.
